A great primary care practice. All of the providers are attentive and will see you for a same day visit in their walk-in center. You may have to wait a bit, but I’d rather my pcp see me than an urgent care who knows nothing about me.

I had my own primary care doctor for years in Bloomfield and he eventually went to Uconn Health Center full time. It became hard for me to see him because of his new network that he joined. Shortly after I discovered Suffield Medical and it’s been a pleasant experience. Getting an appointment is effortless and even when my provider Mark Volpe is not available, I still have the option to utilize the urgent care component of the office or even a telehealth visit. This is keyyyy for me because the rudeness and wait times I’ve encountered at private urgent care centers were very displeasing. 😩 they have Quest in the building for blood draws which is ridiculously convenient. They have their own X-ray machine as well. I saw Mark once for pneumonia and I was diagnosed on the spot and a prescription was filled that same day. Having been through a few different medical practices, I’m happy to say Suffield Medical got a good thing going. Everything is in house for the most part and those ladies remember my name. Welcoming, professional, efficient and with quick service. I’ve never been in that office past an hour. I’d definitely recommend to a friend. I appreciate y’all SMA 🙏🏾

My provider, Amanda, was able to determine that there was something urgent that needed to be treated right away after being told for seven years by other doctors that there was nothing wrong with me. I am currently in treatment and it is successfully diminishing my inflammation, pain and discomfort. My specialist told me that if this was not discovered, my condition could have been fatal. I am very thankful to this provider for saving my life.

Everyone in this office is phenomenal. Not only are the doctors professional and caring, the rest of the staff will go out of their way to help and ensure a great customer/patient experience EVERY time. Should be the blueprint for other medical practices.

If Dr. Anastasio could be cloned, the practice would be outstanding! Though I realize the practice has had its issues, the staff is always very patient and kind with me.

I have been going to Suffield Medical Associates for many years now and continue to be impressed by their level of care and attentiveness to detail. The practice is very cohesive and welcoming as it is run by a team of providers whom have predominantly worked together for numerous years, if not decades. Not only do they provide high level experienced care but they offer the kind of convenience I am looking for in my busy life. Weekend hours, not to mention on site blood draws, make scheduling a single appointment that much easier. Thank you Suffield Medical Associates!

I have never had a provider as attentive and proactive as Amanda Spence. She caught a very serious issue just my touching my abdomen and sent me to the ER immediately. She also notified the ER that I was on my way. Getting an appointment is also very easy. I've been able to get same day or next day appointments. Lastly, the ladies at the front desk are very nice and try to accommodate my hectic and changing schedule. Highly recommend!!

I've been going there for over 20 years. The staff has changed over the years. But I like Dr. Volpe. He is very professional. Has a good bedside manner. And is very personable. He has diagnosed a problem my boyfriend had. Where someone else missed it. I trust his every word. I appreciate his honesty. I'm glad he joined the group. Dr. Josephine is very nice to. I used to see Kope and Anistaso years ago. Until I met Dr. Volpe. Hes a keeper. Thank you ALL for taking good care of our medical needs. 💞

Dr. Mark at Suffield Medical Associates is hands-down one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. He actually listens, takes his time, and never pushes medication — instead, he gives you all the options and supports a more natural or holistic approach if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s rare and so appreciated. He’s also just a genuinely kind, funny, down-to-earth person who makes you feel comfortable right away. You can tell he truly cares. The staff is just as great — super friendly, the nurses are awesome, and having the lab right there is so convenient. They always try to get you in as soon as possible and the whole place runs efficiently without ever feeling cold or rushed. I’ve sent most of my family to him and they all say the same thing: Dr. Mark and the whole practice are amazing. Highly recommend if you're looking for care that’s smart, supportive, and actually centered around you. Suffield Medical Associates is making Primary Care Great Again!
